The Illuminating Downtown Project is San Jose’s multi-year undertaking to bring a series of interactive lighting projects to the city’s core. Once completed, the project will make the downtown a beacon for residents and visitors alike. Four projects already underway — including the Highway 87 underpasses at Santa Clara and San Pedro streets – and many more planned.
