Presidio Parklands: Key Park Layers

Evening Forum

An inspiring new landscape is taking shape at the Presidio, where 13 acres of new public space is being built over the Highway 101, connecting the Crissy Field waterfront with the heart of the park. In March 2015, James Corner Field Operations and the project team released preliminary design concepts for the New Presidio Parklands Project. In April, the conversation continues with a focus on the key layers of the project site. Michael Boland, Presidio Trust director of park development and operations, will lead a discussion of views and visual resources, circulation patterns, site history, the learning landscape, design alternatives, and the environmental review process. Your input will help inform the concept design and the issues to be addressed in the upcoming environmental assessment. The goal is to have a final design by the end of 2015.

This is one of a series of workshops on the Presidio Parklands Project at SPUR. Unable to join us? Keep up to date on the project's progress by attending The Presidio Trust's monthly meetings. For more information >>
