One way the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has been working to transform public housing and improve financing opportunities for affordable housing is the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. Through RAD, San Francisco recently finalized an agreement with HUD to transform over 4,500 public housing units in the next three years. Join us in a conversation reflecting on HUD's work in San Francisco and an update on other efforts to support more and better affordable housing with limited resources.
