In Spring 2014, the San Francisco and Northwest District Councils of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) carried out a Building Healthy Places Innovation Exchange involving visits to both regions and presentations by experts and thought leaders in the fields of health, real estate, transportation, and public policy. Supported by a Grant from the ULI Foundation, the collaborative program explored best practices for building healthy places and examples of how local innovation sets the stage in the San Francisco and Seattle metropolitan areas. Please join ULI San Francisco and SPUR to hear thoughts and findings from exchange participants from San Francisco and Seattle.
