Building San Francisco's Floating Wetlands

Long deemed expensive ornamentation, floating wetlands have rapidly become affordable while proving significant benefits in bioremediation, wave attenuation and habitat restoration. These factors alone make them ripe for inclusion along San Francisco’s coastline. Come hear this year’s Piero N. Patri Fellow share her vision for how our communities can successfully design, build, permit and install these wetlands off of the city’s southeastern waterfront.
